Brandon is a civil defense litigator handling transportation, product liability, and negligence cases.
Practice Overview
Brandon is a litigator whose practice is focused on civil defense in the areas of transportation, product liability, and professional negligence. He has a special interest in resolving cases using creative legal reasoning and motion practice, which often leads to significant savings for clients in both legal fees and settlement dollars. Brandon has defended railroads, trucking companies, product manufacturers and resellers, small businesses, and individuals, primarily in general property damage, personal injury and wrongful death lawsuits. He has also handled real estate, land use, probate litigation, and contract disputes.
Education and Bar Admissions
Brandon received his bachelor’s degree in psychology from George Fox University. He earned a law degree from Lewis & Clark Law School, graduating summa cum laude in 2018. While attending law school Brandon served as the Editor in Chief of the Lewis & Clark Law Review.
Brandon is a member of the Oregon State Bar, the Washington State Bar, the United States District Court for the District of Oregon, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Recognition
Brandon was selected by faculty for the Cornelius Honor Society at Lewis & Clark Law School in recognition of his distinguished scholarship, leadership, and contributions to the law community. He also received the Evening Student Award, honoring the graduating student with the highest academic performance.
Personal
Prior to entering law, Brandon spent several years in the real estate industry as a real estate appraiser and a mortgage servicer and portfolio manager. He made the transition to law as an evening student at Lewis & Clark, while continuing to work full time – including, during his final year, as a law clerk.
In his occasional free time, Brandon enjoys exercising, playing music, reading fiction and non-fiction, and spending time with his partner Christa, as well as attending concerts or sporting events with his son Nathan.
